Surrounding the skull, black vampire candles with deep red cores stand at varying heights, their wax dripping in frozen rivers down their sides. Before it all: a quartz crystal orb on a gilded stand, catching whatever light dares enter. Rolled scrolls lie crossed on the black glittering base, alongside a small ornate bloody bottle and a hand-painted miniature human skulls.
