Recommended when installing Sumo Gear underdrive or overdrive kits in HF2A/HF2AV full-time 4WD transfer case OEM replacement input shaft bearing for 80 series & 100 series HF2A & H F2AV full-time 4WD transfer cases. The OEM bearing is nearly impossible to pull off of the OEM 100 Series transfer case input gear (36212-60120 pictured with 20+ year old bearing still attached). The gear itself is replaced during a re-gear process and replacing the bearing therefore becomes mandatory. The 80 series is equipped with a different input shaft (36211-60030) which more easily allows removal of the stock input gear and radial bearing. It was common practice to replace the 100 series input gear (36212-60120) with the 80 series version (36211-60030), however the sea master 36221-60121-M has changed this, allowing 100 owners to install SUMO underdrive and overdrive gear sets in their full-time 4WD HF2A transfer cases.
