The main Affinium range of 10’, 11’, and 12’ feeder rods, along with an 11’ float rod, is designed around strength, power, and control, with medium to high BTC ratings, making them ideal for casting larger weights and playing bigger fish. The Affinium S range, comprising 10’, 11’, and 12’ feeder rods, retains subtle strength and power with slimmer blanks and low to medium BTC ratings, while offering a more refined feel that creates the “SENSATION” during use. Each rod in the Affinium range was developed as its own project, with design, engineering and testing carried out individually for every model. The process involved NuFish’s development team alongside sponsored anglers, consultants and engineers. All blanks were subject to extensive field testing and quality checks before final approval, and only those that met the required performance standards were included in the range. 11ft Affinium Float No modern premium rod range will be complete without a float rod. And the Affinium 11ft Float fills that void perfectly. Constructed on a 2 piece blank with a spigot joint for a smooth transition of power through the rod from the tip down to the powerful butt, this elegant, lightweight, but powerful rod boasts a 240 g BTC rating which is built on a through action blank that enables floats from 2g to 12g floats to be able to be cast perfectly. This rod has got enough power and the action lends itself perfectly to the riggers that are demanded from today's commercial fisheries. So you can cast the small floats at short distances up to the 12 g pellet wagglers that you might want to push to maximums of 30 and 35 m while retaining enough crisp action to be able to strike through the line and set the hook when you are faced with those fast bites.
