Nuguigami - Maintenance paper for Iaito & Shinken Made in Japan Contains: set of 2 sheets of 24 x 40 cm The term Nugui-Gami is composed of "Nugu" which means swap/wipe and "Kami/Ga mi", paper and is a Japanese traditional cleaning paper for Katana, nihonto, or Iaito. This product is used at the Minosaka workshop for cleaning their Iaito and Shinken blades. The Nuguigami is used to remove the oil on the blade after the blade maintenance. Although the blade of the Iaito does not require maintenance due to the nature of its alloy (no rust), it is recommended to oil the blade regularly to nourish the Saya wood from the inside. Since this product contains 2 wide sheets, it is necessary to cut the needed size with a scissor before use. Show more
