Heat Cable for Custom Electric Floor Heating Layouts Nuheat® Cable is a free-form heat cable system designed for electric floor heating installations where fixed-size mats may not fit the room layout. The cable is secured with patented plastic cable guides and can be spaced on site to match the shape and dimensions of the heated area, making it well suited for bathrooms, kitchens, and other spaces with irregular floor plans. Radiant Heating for Tile, Stone and Resilient Flooring The system provides radiant heating beneath tile, stone, laminate, engineered wood, and luxury vinyl flooring. By warming the finished floor surface from below, Nuheat Cable delivers evenly distributed electric floor heating across the installed area without requiring forced-air ductwork or bulky heating equipment. Adjustable 12–15 W/ft² Heat Output Cable spacing can be adjusted during installation to provide approximately 12–15 W/ft² based on the desired heating output and project requirements. This flexibility allows installers to tailor the radiant heating layout to the room instead of working around a fixed heating mat size. 120V and 240V Electric Floor Heating Options Nuheat Cable is available in both 120V and 240V configurations with individual cable kits covering areas from 8 ft² to 240 ft². Multiple kits can be combined when larger heated areas are required, providing scalable electric floor heating for projects ranging from small bathrooms to larger living spaces. Flexible Heating Cable Construction The heating cable uses a two-wire, grounded, twisted-pair construction with a PVC outer jacket and a minimum bending radius of 0.5". Each cable includes a 10 ft cold lead for connection to the electrical system, while the supplied cable guides support controlled spacing and on-site adjustment during installation.
