Made in the traditional method. Once the fermentation is complete, the wine is left to mature in vitrified cement tanks for at least a year, then separate batches are aged in oak b arrels and 100 year old terracotta urns called ‘Capasoni’ before being carefully blended together to create the characteristic Primitivo di Manduria wine. The colour is deep ruby red with a tawny hue; it has an intense aroma of red and black fruit with subtle hints of sultana, raisin and chocolate and is full bodied with a velvety mouth feel. Show more
