Nuttall Oak One of the best oaks for wildlife including deer, ducks, and turkeys, Nuttall oaks hold their acorns late into the year. Some hold on well into December. Additionally they tolerate wet areas much better than most oaks making the preferred tree planting for waterfowl. Can be planted around wetlands to provide a great food source. Also a great choice for deer as they drop much later than many other oaks. Very palatable and will draw deer in late into the year.
