How it tastes White flowers, green apple and brioche with a mineral thread, filling out to stone fruit, nuts and a touch of honey. Even thirds of Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir . The producer Pol Roger blend Brut Réserve from around thirty still base wines across sites, varieties and years. The must is clarified at 8°C — a step unique to the house — and the wines are still riddled by hand, which almost nobody does at this scale. Food and drinking Good with seafood, rich & creamy dishes and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 8°C. Show more
