While all modern image intensification tubes are auto-gated, they cannot withstand exposure to constant light sources, weapon sights, or laser radiation. Auto-gated Image Intensifier Tubes are designed for nighttime battlefield light conditions, but prolonged exposure to any light source will cause damage. If it is determined during the warranty claim process that the cause of the damage was prolonged exposure to excessive lighting conditions, the warranty will be considered null and void. FINAL SALE.
