NYDA is used for the physical treatment of scalp lice infestation (pediculosis capitis). When used as directed, NYDA is also effective against nymphs (newly hatched lice) and eggs (nits). Mechanism of action: NYDA does not contain harmful insecticides. The solution is absorbed deep into the respiratory system of lice, nymphs and eggs (nits), causing them to suffocate.
