The nylon bristles are stiff enough to remove dust, loose debris and light scale, but still flexible enough to follow bends without digging into the pipe surface. Because of that, it’s strongly recommended to use a shaft lock to secure the brush properly. Without it, there’s a risk of the brush slipping or getting left inside the pipe.
