Installation Tips Confirm the existing O-ring in your unit is the same part number (OR00200100-1) or an equivalent replacement. Inspect the seating groove and surrounding surfaces for damage, debris or wear — a new O-ring in a damaged housing may not seal properly. Unplug the handpiece and ensure it’s powered off and fully stopped. Disassemble the front housing / spindle area to access the existing O-ring. Remove the old O-ring, clean the groove and adjacent surfaces of any residue, metal shavings or lubricant build-up. Insert the new O-ring from the pack (one of the 4) into the correct location, ensuring it is seated evenly and not twisted. Re-assemble the handpiece and perform a low-speed (no bit) test to ensure smooth operation and verify there is no abnormal vibration or noise.
