Oajan Parfums de Marly: The Majestic Inspiration of the East The inspiration behind Parfums de Marly Oajan comes from the rich heritage and opulence of the Arabian horse, a symbol of grace, power, and elegance. Oajan is a nod to a village on the border of Iran where the famous Arabian horse breed originated. The perfumers wanted to capture the spirit of this magnificent creature, known for its beauty and endurance, in a fragrance that would embody luxury and sophistication. They used warm, spicy notes such as cinnamon and honey to create a scent that evokes the grandeur of the royal stable. This fragrance is meant to reflect the noble qualities of the Arabian horse and its connection to the rich culture and history of the East. Olfactory Notes Parfums de Marly Oajan opens with a rich burst of cinnamon and honey, creating an inviting warmth reminiscent of spiced desserts. As the top notes settle, the heart reveals a blend of benzoin and tonka bean, introducing a sweet, resinous depth that feels cozy and comforting. The base notes of vanilla and patchouli gradually emerge, adding a creamy, earthy richness that evokes the feeling of indulging in an apple pie with cream. This evolution from spicy warmth to sweet depth and creamy finish makes Oajan a really multi-layered fragrance.
