The name originates from the knots found in tree bark. With the white surrounding and hidden layers of vanilla and beige peeking through, leading to the darker black markings in th e centre of the piece which draw in the viewer, just as the hidden knots in the old oak trees do. Please note: All canvas prints will be signed and some will be numbered with their limited edition number in the bottom right of the painting (dependant on the print.)
