Handmade brass oak leaf on a sterling silver band. The oak leaf is hand-cut out with a piercing saw in brass. Each oak leaf is cut individually, so every leaf will vary slightly in size and shape. In general, they measure about 12-15mm long, by 5-7mm high. The band is made from 1.3mm sterling silver wire and soldered together to make a perfect circle. The mountain is then soldered to the band. I finish the rings to a high shine in a barrel polisher. MaintenanceThe ring is made of sterling silver and brass, so it will keep its colour with everyday wear. If it needs cleaning, you can easily bring it back to a high shine with a silver polish cloth.
