Roger Becker is a woodturner and has a Robust American Beauty lathe and over 30 turning tools. He makes use of a wide variety of woods, always keeping an eye out for interesting gr ain patters. Some turnings are utilitarian like bowls and rolling pins while others might be describes as artistic. Recently, he has been adding interest to his turnings by adding color, wood burning, and carving. A number of different finishes are used depending on the object and its use.
