Our statement Oakleaf design, in Bihar Gold steeps a room in the warm golden glow of late summer evenings. It encapsulates a key driver behind most interior design; an incentive to capture and immortalise moments of nostalgia and joy. The glinting gold, backed against a calming cream, is reminiscent of dappled sunlight dancing through verdure. The depth of the design’s gold leaves carries this warmth all through the winter. Similar to the wallpaper design the Bodley this paper shows a legacy to the geometric structure introduced by Pugin in its underlying diagonal pattern, but equally to the lasting influence of Morris in the flat stylised naturalism.
