The Rubber Oar Stopper stops your oar shaft from sliding through oarlocks. This 1″ thick rubber stopper goes over the oar shaft, not over the Molded Oar Sleeve. The 1 5/8″ inner di ameter is a tight fit on the shaft. Use hairspray to lubricate the shaft to slide the stop in place. As the hairspray dries, it also creates an adhesive effect that holds the stopper in place.
