Oatmeal Exfoliant Oatmeal has naturally occurring gluten in the form of avenin protein, not the gliadin protein contained in wheat gluten. It is used as a thickener, binder and pro tein source in skin care products. Our fine grain oatmeal exfoliant has a mesh size of 25. It can be used in creams, lotions, soaps, facials and milk baths. Combine with powdered milk, herbs, honey, starches, nut meals or clays. It works nicely in a blend of our Honey and Goat's Milk melt & pour bases scented with our Oatmeal, Milk & Honey fragrance.
