These are made using new Ford OBD ports, which are typically only available if you purchase an entire wiring loom. The wires are wrapped in the same canvas tape that Ford uses on t heir wiring looms, and they feature bi-coloured wires to ensure they look identical to the original when installed Information If connected, the port will power up the criminal's equipment but will be unable to read any data. It will appear to be the original port, seemingly blocked. At this stage, they are unlikely to look for it. Installation Unclip your original port and clip the dummy in its place. Plug the Black connector into your genuine port. Close the locking clip. Relocate the original to a place of your choosing out of sight. Secure the dummy lead to your car's wiring loom to make it look like the original port.
