眼鏡を外したあと、手から離れ、次に使われるまでの時間。CASE は、そのあいだを預かります。 CASE は、フランス・アノネイ社の牛革を用いて製作されたサングラス用レザーケースです。 外装には、丸みを持たせたシンプルな輪郭を採用。過度な形状操作は行わず革の質感と立体そのものが自然に立ち上がる構成としています。 パーツごとに革の厚みを調整し、外側には適度な張りを、内側にはしなやかさを持たせた設計。必要な強度を確保しながらも、全体として嵩張らない収まりを追求しました。 内装にはスウェード素材を使用。外装とのコントラストを抑え、全体の収まりを優先した構成としています。 レンズやフレームが触れる部分には、ノーズの収まりを整えるためのアンダーパーツを配置。構造は極力シンプルに、既存の型に頼らないオリジナルの発想で構築されています。 裁断から組み上げ、革の繋ぎ目や段差を抑える処理、コバを磨き重ねる工程に至るまで、すべて職人の手作業によるもの。眼鏡を出し入れする際のわずかな引っかかりも残さない仕上げです。 バッグの中に入れた際にも、無理なく収まるサイズ感。小さなバッグにも自然に馴染み、持ち運ぶことを意識させません。 CASE は、眼鏡を守るためだけのケースではなく、使われていない時間を、静かに整えるためのオブジェクトです。After removing your eyewear,it leaves your hand,entering the time until it is used again. CASE is a leather sunglasses case crafted from cowhide leather by Tanneries d’Annonay in France. The exterior adopts a simple, softly rounded outline.Without excessive shaping,the structure allows the texture of the leatherand its three-dimensional form to rise naturally. Leather thickness is adjusted by part,giving the exterior a controlled firmness while allowing flexibility on the inside.This balance provides sufficient strength without adding unnecessary bulk,resulting in a compact and composed form. The interior is finished with suede.Rather than creating strong contrast,the construction prioritizes overall harmonyand a clean sense of containment. An under-part is placed where the lenses and frame rest,designed to guide the natural position of the nose.The structure remains deliberately simple,built from an original approach rather than relying on existing patterns. From cutting to assembly, from minimizing seams and transitionsto repeatedly polishing the edges, every process is completed by hand.The finish leaves no unwanted resistance when eyewear is placed in or removed. Its size allows it to fit easily inside a bag,including smaller ones,settling in without calling attention to itself.
