眼鏡を身につける行為には、掛ける、外す、置くという、小さな所作の積み重ねがあります。 RING STRAP は、その所作を乱さないために生まれました。 RING STRAP は、シルバー925のリングとレザーストラップのみで構成された、眼鏡用ネックストラップです。 リングの形状は、NOCHINO OPTICAL のアイコンでもある「月」をモチーフに製作。輪郭のエッジには、眼鏡フレームの面落としを想起させるラウンド仕上げを施しています。サングラスへの傷つきや、身につける衣類や肌への影響を極力排除するための処理です。 適度な重量と強度を持たせることで、掛け外しの動作が自然に行えるバランスを追求しました。装飾性を主張することなく、機能としての「輪」だけを、静かに成立させています。 ストラップには、フランス・アノネイ社の牛革を使用。使い始めは張りがあり、使い込むほどに柔らかさと艶が増し、時間と共に表情を深めていく素材です。 革の繋ぎ目を極力感じさせないため、裁断から組み上げまでを職人の手作業で行い、構造そのものが目立たないよう丁寧に仕立てています。 コバ処理には特に時間をかけ、角を落とし、何度も磨き重ねることで、手に触れたときの引っかかりや違和感を抑えました。主張するための仕上げではなく、長く使われるための、静かな精度です。 センターに入るステッチは、意図的なブレを排した一本仕上げ。装飾ではなく、構造を整えるための線として引かれています。 首に掛けたとき、身につけていることを意識させない収まり。使い込むほどに身体に馴染み、眼鏡を支えるための道具として、過不足のない形だけが残っていきます。 Wearing eyewear is made up of small, repeated gestures —putting it on, taking it off, setting it down. RING STRAPwas created to keep those gestures undisturbed. RING STRAP is an eyewear neck strap composed solely of a sterling silver (925) ringand a leather strap. The ring is shaped with the moon as its motif, an icon of NOCHINO OPTICAL.Its edges are softly rounded, inspired by the chamfered finishing of eyewear frames.This treatment is intended to minimize contact stress, reducing the risk of damage to sunglasses, clothing, or skin. The ring is given a carefully considered weight and strength, allowing the action of putting eyewear on and taking it off to feel natural and unforced.Without asserting decoration, the ring exists quietly as a functional form. The strap is made from cowhide leather by Tanneries d’Annonay in France.Firm at first touch, the leather softens over time, developing depth and sheenthrough continued use. From cutting to assembly, each process is carried out by hand, with particular care taken to minimize the presence of seams so that the structure itself remains unobtrusive. Special attention is given to the edge finishing.Corners are softened and repeatedly polished to eliminate any discomfort when touched.Not a finish meant to stand out, but a quiet precision intended for long-term use. The center stitch is executed as a single, unwavering line.It is not decorative, but a line drawn to quietly stabilize the structure. When worn around the neck, the strap settles without calling attention to itself.With continued use, it conforms naturally to the body, leaving only what is essential —a balanced form that simply supports eyewear.
