Working together with Highlander Inn – Craigellachie, we are proud to present the first Singapore Exclusive bottling with Highlander Inn. Released under the Maggie’s Collection series, the cask was personally selected by Mr Tatsuya Minagawa for Singapore. Maggie’s Collection is one of Highlander Inn's core ranges. The range takes its name from the well-known local artist Maggie Riegler, whose artwork adorns the labels. The Maggie's Collection series has done country exclusives before for Japan and Taiwan. They were very well-received. Friends With Drams is elated to receive this Singapore exclusive bottle. Distilled, in 1997, this is an “Obscure Speyside” bottled in 2021 after maturing for 24 long years. It is at cask strength, at 59%abv. Tatsuya-san has also kindly written tasting notes for this bottle.: Nose: Whisky-flavoured marmalade with a flowery sweet aroma, also a bit of musty fragrance. Palate: A mix of sweet and bitter, Tangerine and over-ripe pear at the end. Finish: A pleasant bitterness to start with, almost orange zest and very lingering. Overall: Powerful, but also very classic, with multi-dimensioned character. Cask Strength | Non-Chill Filtered | No Colouring Added
