The aroma of ripe red fruits intermingles with subtle hints of oak and spices, evoking a sense of nostalgia and refinement. Hand picked and partially de-stemmed has created well-balanced tannins that have added structure and longevity to this wine, allowing it to age so well. Cold soaking the grapes for 3 days has produced a full-bodied character offering a rich and deep purple hue. Undergoing wild fermentation and delaying malolactic fermentation has elevated the terroir, releasing a symphony of flavours that dance on your tastebuds. Eighteen months in old French oak has imparted a unique character to the final product. The 2017 Tempranillo showcases the dedication of winemaker Adrian, who has carefully nurtured the grapes and allowed them to express their true essence.
