This is a beautiful deep black obsidian knife with a handle from a Mule Deer antler shed. The handle has natural pearling which makes for a smooth yet firm grip in the hand. The bl ade and handle are joined together with real deer sinew and waterproofed with beeswax. this knife is very sharp. Since obsidian is a natural glass, it is fragile. This knife is functional, but it should not be dropped. Most people use my knives for display.
