The Obsidian Shred Pockets Denim is a study in restraint. The same hand-shredding technique used on the Cobalt Shred — tears pulled one by one, by hand, instinctively — but applied to one zone only: the pockets. The rest of the garment stays untouched. Intact black denim surrounding controlled destruction. 10 to 20 hours of work. Not less effort than a fully shredded piece — more precision. When the destruction is limited to a specific area, every tear has to be more deliberate. There's nowhere to hide a mistake on an otherwise clean surface. The tension is the point. Deep black fabric, structurally solid, then suddenly — exposed fibers, torn layers, raw texture where your hands would naturally go. The pockets are the only part of a jean you actually touch every day. That's where the violence lives. Cut in W36/L34, baggy fit. Black upcycled denim from salvaged stock. The obsidian base absorbs light while the shredded pockets catch it — shadow against texture. 100% upcycled denim. Handmade in the PrototypesParis workshop, Paris.
