The Ocean Course is an iconic view of the Lowcountry. It holds one of the most loved golf courses in the south east. Although I’m not a golfer, it is on this green where I have spent many afternoons helping one of my dearest friends design elaborate wedding florals for weekend nuptials. It sure doesn’t feel like work with a view like this surrounding you. I love the thick brush strokes that a painting study offers. Often studies are painted in one short studio setting, capturing the main idea of a landscape or subject. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it. The “Ocean Course” study, which is part of the Mountains to Sea collection is an original 6×8 acrylic painting study on a canvas panel.
