Project of Stefan Thanneur (Chaos Echœs) & Michel “Away” Langevin (Voivod): primal bass/vocal + interstellar percussion across two tracks. The two tracks showcase the throbbing pri mitivism of Thanneur’s work in Chaos Echoes, combined with the interstellar coldness of Langevin’s drumming in Voivod. “Ocre Rouge” is a pummeling work with massively distorted bass and waves of noise laid over a relentlessly pounding beat, while “Ocre Jaune” is an ominous, atmospheric piece, with effects that ring like ghosts flitting between the bass strings as surprisingly jazzy drums echo from the next room.
