This occasional table will look great in any hallway or living room and will become a real talking point in your household. The four attractively carved legs sit on the original castors and give this table a style all of its own. The legs are all connected with an appealing central design feature, providing a sturdy frame. The octagonal top doesn't just look good, it is also a great space for you to display your favourite family photos or ornaments. The tabletop is slightly bowed due to its age which we estimate to be late Victorian era, circa 1890. You can see this in the fourth and final photographs. We have restored this piece by stripping away the previous, darker finish before applying a clear lacquer to accentuate the beauty of the natural wood and provide protection. This table is constructed from beech, for the legs and the frame. The top is walnut. Whether this lovely table is used in the lounge, conservatory or other family space it is sure to be a valued addition to the home. [dimensions] [w]76[/w] [d]74[/d] [h]73[/h] [/dimensions]
