This is a painting of Oddnýjarlaug which is located on the south side of Reykjanes peninsula Brimketill, Iceland. It is a natural hot spring formed by the never-ending waves crashi ng against the coast of lava rocks. Legend has it that this spring was a popular spot for Oddný, a female troll/giantess.
