Three new games for the Magnavox Odyssey! These games are all designed around a new mechanic that celebrates the Odyssey's combination of electronic and tactile elements: screen drawing. Players draw onto a transparent overlay, stacked over the game's overlay. This game pack also includes a new game card: #16. Like all OdysseyNow games, only 15 of these packs will be made, ever. Topology: This game set about network dynamics actually includes four different games, all of which involve players creating and navigating networks in real-time. Some of the games are team games, allowing up to four players simultaneously on two teams. Snowden: A game about hacking, secret movement, and evasion. One player plays as Edward Snowden as he attempts to hack into two of four government security agencies and then escape. The other players take on the roles of security teams for each agency. During a series of timed mini-rounds, the agency players actually continually re-draw their security response, creating new obstacles for Snowden. If he makes an appearance within a particular agency, that player has a chance to catch him! This game utilizes an overlay with special opaque layers that hide Snowden's actions in some zones. In addition to the overlay and cards needed to play, this game includes specially designed ID badges for up to four agency players. Note: Snowden requires the OdysseyNow Ghost Controller, released in Game Pack 3. If you do not own Game Pack 3, you may purchase a standalone Ghost Controller here (very limited quantities, so please only add this to your order if you do not already own one). Treasure Map: A unique game of secret information that has one player bury a treasure on a desert island and other players frantically hunt for it in real-time. Treasure Hunters must use objects to gather information, watch each other's movements for clues, but avoid making contact as they attempt to deduce the treasure's location and then dig it up first! Players draw on the screen, treating it as a live treasure map. This game includes two different overlays, each depicting a different island with different challenges. The game also includes custom sand timers, mini dry-erase maps, and a set of cards needed for play. This is perhaps the most unique and fun game in the OdysseyNow lineup. Game Pack 6 comes packaged in a stylish tube box. It is the size of Game Pack 1, and thus costs a bit less to make and ship than our most recent game packs.
