OEX DXA552M 12V 130A Denso Style Alternator Single Leg Mount 7-Groove 58mm Pulley Genuine Regulator IR115 CW Rotation New Unit The OEX DXA552M is a new 12V 130A alternator in the Denso style with a single leg mount, 7-groove pulley and genuine regulator. Clockwise rotation. Note: if upgrading from an 85A alternator, the battery cable and fuse between the alternator and battery should be upgraded to suit the higher output. If the alternator warning lamp flickers during acceleration or deceleration after installation, this may be related to a faulty ECM rather than the alternator. 3-year passenger vehicle warranty, 1-year commercial warranty. Product overview The DXA552M is a high-output 130A Denso-style single leg alternator with a genuine regulator. The IR115 pin code is shared with several other OEX Denso alternators always confirm all mounting dimensions and mount type. Note that the DXA520 (70A, single leg, 5-groove, 164mm CTC) shares the same single leg mount style and 58mm leg thickness but has different output, CTC, pulley section and OD. The two are not interchangeable. Two installation notes from the supplier. First, if replacing an 85A alternator with this 130A unit, upgrade the battery cable and fuse between the alternator and battery to handle the increased current. Second, if the alternator warning lamp flickers during acceleration or deceleration, the issue may be related to a faulty ECM rather than the alternator diagnose the ECM before replacing the unit again. Features and benefits New unit: Brand new, not remanufactured. 130A output: High-output single leg alternator for vehicles with elevated electrical demands. Genuine regulator: Factory-specification regulator for correct charging behaviour. Clockwise rotation: Confirm rotation direction suits your vehicle before ordering. Single leg mount, 165mm CTC, 58mm leg thickness: Confirm all mounting dimensions against the vehicle before ordering. 7-groove 58mm OD pulley: 7-groove multi-rib pulley for serpentine belt drive systems. M8x1.25 adjusting hole: Confirm thread specification suits the vehicle's mounting points. IR115 pin code: Shared with several other OEX Denso units. Confirm all dimensions against your vehicle. Upgrade note: If replacing an 85A unit with this 130A alternator, upgrade the battery cable and fuse between alternator and battery accordingly. Warning lamp note: Flickering of the alternator warning lamp during acceleration or deceleration may indicate a faulty ECM, not an alternator fault. Internal regulator: Voltage regulation handled internally. 3-year passenger / 1-year commercial warranty: Extended warranty for passenger vehicle applications. New. The DXA552M is a brand new unit, not remanufactured or rebuilt. Do I need to upgrade any wiring when replacing an 85A alternator with this 130A unit? Yes. The supplier recommends upgrading the battery cable and fuse between the alternator and battery when replacing an 85A unit with a 130A unit. The existing cable and fuse may not be rated for the higher output current. Consult a qualified auto electrician to confirm the correct cable gauge and fuse rating. What should I do if the alternator warning lamp flickers after installation? If the alternator warning lamp flickers during acceleration or deceleration, the supplier notes this may be related to a faulty ECM rather than the alternator itself. Diagnose the ECM before concluding the alternator is at fault. What is the warranty on this alternator? 3 years for passenger vehicle applications, 1 year for commercial use. What should I confirm before ordering this alternator? Confirm mount type (single leg), CTC (165mm), leg thickness (58mm), adjusting hole (M8x1.25), pulley section (7-groove), pulley OD (58mm), rotation (clockwise) and pin code (IR115) all match your vehicle's requirements. Alternators are vehicle-specific, verify fitment before purchasing.
