U.S. Space Force Sticker United States Space Force (USSF) The United States Space Force was officially established on 20 December 2019 with the signing of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020, becoming the sixth independent branch of the United States Armed Forces and the first new military service since the Air Force was created in 1947.
