How many bundles of OGs do I need? Each bundle = 5 OG strands. For a lighter, everyday set: Start with 10 bundles (50 strands total). A good choice if you're new to extensions, prefer a more subtle look, or want a less weighty install. For full or dramatic volume: Go up to 13 bundles for noticeable fullness. Go up to 16 bundles if you're used to wearing a lot of hair and love that thick, full, long look. If you're new or unsure which look you want, it's totally fine to start lighter (around 10 bundles) and add more on your next install once you know your perfect fullness. What's Included & Specs 5 OG Wavy Extensions Length: 48–50 inches per strand Texture: Wavy, double-ended braid-in extensions Material: High Heat Resistant Synthetic Fiber Attachment: Braided in using a little girl 3 strand braid Attachment & center sectionUnique 10-inch Smooth Flex center that makes braiding easier, holds securely, and moves naturally with your hair. Fit & lengthOGs typically install at about 24–25 inches and land around butt or waist length in the back. The strand itself measures 48–50 inches end to end, but because they're double-ended, your hair braids into the middle and the two sides fold down to give you that long, installed look. With the 10-inch Smooth Flex center, you can offset the braid toward one end to extend the installed length up to ~28 inches on the longer side. Ideal hair & densityOGs work for a range of hair types: Fine hair: OGs add dramatic length with a lighter overall set when you stay at the lower bundle count, which keeps your install simple and easy to wear. Medium-density hair: A great option for extra-long length and big, full waves without going to the maximum bundle count. Thicker hair: Can comfortably support more bundles for a denser, longer look, with the same easy daily care across the full set. About Our OGs (And Why They're Special) OGs are our original Long design and the style that started it all. Fully dreaded center section throughout, boho and hippie-inspired, slightly lighter than our Venus style. What makes OGs different from Venus Fully dreaded center section throughout (Venus has a hybrid braided-and-dreaded center section) More body and a classic boho look that some customers specifically prefer Slightly lighter weight than Venus Standard braid-in install method Why we don't restock OGs anymoreWe introduced Venus as a comfort upgrade, with a hybrid center section that lays smoother against the scalp. Most of our community made the switch, so we decided to let the current stock run out. What's available now is what we have left. Should you get OGs or Venus? If you specifically love the fully dreaded look or you've worn OGs before and want to stay with what you know, OGs are still a great choice while they're available. If you're new to braid-ins or you prioritize maximum scalp comfort, Venus is the style most of our community has moved to. Either way, both styles use the same hair material in the same lengths, and both are covered by the Color Love Guarantee.
