Micromeles sorbifolia INTRODUCED Leaves like alder or beech blaze orange in autumn. What a tremendous answer to an over-planted Autumn-Blaze maple! This isn't your typical Mountain Ash, tested in Ames, this tree seems suitable to the Iowa climate without known aggressive or invasive tendencies. Some introductions blend well with the native landscape. Pairs well with pines and other deciduous trees. Wild collected along a thinly-wooded ridge. Plants are only available for pick up at the nursery, by appointment, and select markets. They will not ship to your address. Please indicate which market you will pick up at in order comments.
