SUSTAIN - Sets the perceived volume “tail” of the kick, letting you balance punch vs. body in the mix. ATTACK - Controls the amount of high-frequency transient energy—add snap or smooth it out. Tuning & Transient PITCH - Tunes the fundamental frequency of the kick (≈C1 to C2), either by manual knob or V/Oct tracking. PITCH CURVE - Morphs the pitch-envelope shape: CCW for soft, 808-style pitch drop; CW for snappier, 909-style. TRS DECAY - Sets how quickly the transient fade-in clears, balancing punch versus presence. Tone & Effects COLOR - Adjusts the body’s harmonic content—from warm analog timbres to bright wavetable tones. FX - Selects and dials in onboard processing (clipping, wavefolder, distortion, etc.) for character and grit. TRS TONE - Shapes the transient’s timbre—darker for tight thuds, brighter for pronounced clicks.
