This 'naked finish' is pure and natural and not only helps resist rust but enhances the non-stick properties of the pan after correct seasoning. Regular non-stick teflon pans are coated using chemicals like polytetraflouroethylene. They work well for a time but the non-stick surface ends up scratched and useless. Naked Finish cookware is coated with - well nothing, they are completely naked. Simply season your pan and you're good to go. In this product the premium naked finish is only available in overseas markets. The more traditional cashew finish is sold domestically.
