Xavier de Langlais egg medium adds smoothness to the oil, accelerates the setting process, and allows for superimposed effects. It also gives the colours a glossy or matt appearanc e, depending on the dosage. 4 to 5 drops for a glossy finish, 8 to 10 drops for a matte finish. It is very important to shake well before use.
