The factory system works as intended for OEM machines, but this kit is for the racer, avid off-roader, and overall tuner who wants performance as well as looks. This conversion removes the OEM style spring clamps which are prone to failure when the system is stressed from engine flexing and rubber degradation over time. This also removes the thin steel union that can get bent or distorted causing oil leakage. Our system has eliminated the known failures and offers the option of larger line sizes. The fitting pivots allowing for flex and movement within the system. This kit gives you the stator cover, fitting and gasket for a seamless replacement. We also offer an Oil Feed Conversion for a plug and play, complete conversion to the oil tank. *This is a great addition to complete our Oil Cooler Kits resulting in no modification on the installation side (for the oil supply circuit)
