This oilcloth tablecloth is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Its white color provides practicality and durability while the simple cut edge makes it easy to clean with a simple wipe. Modern oilcloth is a vinyl product with a poly/cotton scrim backing for support and strength. It does not contain linseed oil and former methods of manufacturing are commercially obsolete. It is printed by the old fashioned rotogravure method. Some of the prints in this collection are from copper rollers from the 1950's! Care: Because oilcloth is waterproof, machine washing is not recommended and will not be effective. Wipe clean with a soft soapy cloth and rinse with vinegar to restore shine if needed. Ironing or machine drying is not recommended. It is relatively stain proof but pen marks or other surface stains can be easily removed.
