Baltic Porter – 9.0% ABV Baltic Porter Day is on Saturday 17th January, and of course our brewer Tomasz has made a contribution again this year. The name Okiść is a Polish word for tree crown snow load. A very wintery and fitting word for this January-brew. This time, compared to last years, Śreżoga, we have changed the grist a little bit by adding touch of peated malt for that extra cosy flavour. Okiść is generally still sweet with notes of chocolate and coffee and a gentle underline of smoked plums.
