This spectacular cluster of Fluorite from Okorusu has silky lustre, and an intensely dark purple color, with a rich blue-green color on the bottom. The purple crystals are unbeliev ably saturated, appearing almost black when viewed in normal indoor lighting. The colors glow with fierce intensity under a strong amount of backlighting, in richness that is seldom seen. There is very little damage on the piece, with just a few inconsequential nicks along the cubic crystal edges, and one internal fracture in the main crystal. An exquisite piece from this world famous locality! Size 5.9 x 4.8 × 2.3 Cm Weight 65g ( Conversion: 1 inch = 2.5 Cm ) Origin: Okorusu Mine, Otjiwarongo Constituency, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia Fluorite is best displayed in strong LED lighting, and shows optimal vibrancy when backlit as shown in the photos.
