A beautiful Wood Bros Old Charm cupboard with an art nouveau style carved door and foot detail. Quality Oak build with an internal half depth shelf perfect for storing glasses with taller bottles beneath. The original very dark Oak finish was hiding the beautiful features of this striking cabinet. There were scuffs and some faded areas. To update I decided to sand back the top to reveal the deep beautiful grain. To protect the wood I used a clear danish oil.For the body, I cleaned, scuff sanded , primed and applied three coats of Dixie Belle Silk paint in the sage green shade, Cactus. The hardware was removed, cleaned and refinished in an antique bronze metallic to coordinate with the green.The inside was revived with a wood repair oil by Pledge to blend in any scuffs or age related wear and tear. Finally, I lined the drawer with a coordinating wallpaper. DimensionsW62.5 D43 H86cm.
