This large, practical and attractive sideboard will make a valuable addition to the lounge, dining room or other family space in the home. There is a small scratch and a couple of marks on the top which we have shown in our final photograph; these are minor cosmetic imperfections that do not detract from what is a very appealing piece. Below the top are four drawers and two double cupboards, each with a single shelf. The linen-fold carvings on the cupboard doors, combined with the attractive wood grain, ornate handles and butterfly hinges, mean this sideboard is full of personality and style. Our workshop has carefully stripped and cleaned this sideboard and then applied a clear matt lacquer that enhances the beautiful wood grain throughout and provides protection. The sideboard is constructed predominantly from solid oak with some veneer panels. The back and drawer bases are sturdy plywood.
