Hand knit with "Sustainawool" yarn from the small mill Ewetopia in Wisconsin. They make this wool out of finewools grown in the Midwest, keeping things relatively local. The mill is roughly an hour from where I live. This is a natural brown, and is very soft. As part of the small mill using environmentally careful practices, sometimes some bits of hay and such get through. I have picked what I've found out, but I may have missed a small piece or two. If you happen to find one, just carefully pick it out, that won't hurt anything. There is a subtle pattern, a variation of Old Shale/Feather and Fan. This pattern may want to fold on itself, which gives another interesting look that I like. Roughly 5" x 58"This purchase helps me, the Artisan's Co-op, a small mill, and small sheep farmers in the United States!
