Step into the enchanting world of an elegant Christmas with our carefully crafted Old Time Christmas collection. As the holiday season approaches, we sought to create a timeless quilt that exudes sophistication and showcases classic Christmas scenes in a unique way. The artwork for this collection was meticulously drawn with tonal colors in mind, resulting in 12 breathtaking Old Time Christmas blocks that capture the essence of the season. Each block in this collection is a masterpiece in itself, intricately designed with meticulous attention to detail. Digitized hand shading brings depth and dimension to the scenes, adding a touch of artistry to every stitch. We wanted to create designs that exude a sense of nostalgia and warmth, reminiscent of cherished memories from Christmases past. To achieve a harmonious and refined look, we stitched each design on a neutral base using tonal appliques and threads in shades of silver, tan, and gold. These sophisticated colors lend an air of elegance to the quilt, creating a stunning visual effect. The subtle play of light and shadow in the tonal appliques adds depth and texture, elevating the overall design to a new level of beauty. In addition to the exquisite blocks, this collection also includes border blocks that add a delightful pop of color to the quilt. These borders serve as vibrant frames, accentuating the intricate scenes within. By juxtaposing the tonal blocks with these colorful border blocks, we aimed to create a harmonious balance that captures the essence of both tradition and innovation.
