The Blazer rail humbuckers are medium output 12k winds around two steel rail poles, charged by a ceramic magnet. This makes these pickups perfect for powering up your Strat with a thick humbucker tone, but not overpowering any accompanying single coils, making volume imbalance difficult. The dual coils mean that they can be used with heaps of gain without the annoying hum associated with typical single coils. They are perfect for dropping in the bridge position for extra punch and a chunkier tone. Due to the side by side humbucker design of these pickups, they're thicker, darker and more mid focused than a normal single coil. This means they lend themselves naturally to the more heavy genres.
