The composition makes use of this impression of height, depth and density, creating a very natural woody accord that seems to float on a bed of bright, peppery spice and extends the warmth of the grain of the wood through use of tannic black tea and aromatic spikenard. The opening is hot and bright, coming straight at you with the sizzle of acid green bergamot, ginger, clary sage, and saffron, muscling its way into your head and your heart. The woody heart is as cleansing an experience as standing in the middle of a forest and taking a big breath, filling your lungs with the pungent, almost green smell of sequoia and jatamansi (Indian spikenard).
