This is the upgraded version of the flashlight that I carry every day, the M2R Pro. It looks much the same, but is of course better, because that's what upgrades are. Still uses the 21700 battery, which is great. Has magnetic charging, is drop resistant, water proof enough that if you drop it in a shallow pond, it's going to be fine, and is a really good size for a pocket or belt light. It is brighter, with a longer throw, and has the new feature of little LED lights around the side button that indicate battery life remaining on one side, and mode (the brightness setting) on the other side. That's really cool. Other features include moon mode that is accessible by holding down the side button. It's like a map light. Really dim. I use it for checking on sleeping kids. It remembers the last brightness setting that was used, and will return to that when you press the side button. And it has a tail cap button for tactical use, which will go to full 2300 lumen, blind you brightness at the push of a button.
