This handmade olive pendant necklace features a solitary, elegant Picual olive swinging on a fine cable chain. Wear this charming little piece of nature every day and with everythi ng — its bright shine and satisfying weight make it a pleasure to wear and caress. Each olive is individually cast using the lost wax technique, then hand-polished to a high shine. The Picual olive gets its name from the Spanish 'pico' meaning 'peak' — a nod to the slightly pointed tips that give this variety its distinctive teardrop shape. This olive began its life on a Picual olive tree on a hillside in the paradise of Waiheke Island, New Zealand. Available in sterling silver, solid gold and vermeil (18k gold plated sterling silver).
